New from TaylorMade are the taylormade r7 cgb max irons. With the largest clubface of any TaylorMade Iron, these are designed to be both easy to hit and long. The club is constructed in several pieces. The face is a thin sheet of 17-4 steel, incorporating TaylorMade's Inverted Cone Technology, which is designed to expand the sweet spot. The frame features a hollow topline, which allows extra weight to be moved down and back. The Center of Gravity Back (thus, the taylormade r7 cgb max irons' CGB of the name), makes it easy to launch the ball high and long. Tungsten weights are used to increase coefficient of restitution—the resistance of the club to twisting. And to increase distance, clubhead speed is increased by using a lightweight grip and shaft.
The R7 CGB Max irons look like a remarkable collection of technologies.

Ok so I've had these clubs about a month and I'm still getting used to them. Delivery & customer service were 1st class, so on to the clubs and how they perform. I've only used graphite in my longer clubs driver 3 metal etc,so having a set of irons with graphite shafts is a new experience for me. I am a 16 handicapper and play regularly about 3 or 4 times a week. I am getting more distance from the scoring clubs 6iron to A wedge are great. I've never been that good with a sand iron off grass but the one in this set has helped me I had a tendency to hit it fat or chunk it. So all in all a great but as far as I'm concerned great value for money. One thing I would advise you to get a set of iron head covers that can protect the shafts.
Have just received my set of this club and can I say what cracking service. Will let you know how they play as I'm due to play later today
I have received TaylorMade 2009 R7 CGB Max Irons, and it is exactly; probably I will order some TaylorMade next time. Thanks for the service.
I received my TaylorMade 2009 R7 CGB Max Irons yesterday. you did not let me disappointed, I like them very much, thanks for recommendation.
The TaylorMade 2009 R7 CGB Max Irons are great. I got these clubs a couple of weeks ago and have played about 5 rounds with them. I'm not saying that I hit it straighter that has not that much to do with the clubs, it's the swing, but they did add distance. With my old irons i hit my 7 iron about 155, now I hit it about 165-170. Great club, very forgiving. I love these TaylorMade 2009 R7 CGB Max Irons and suggest them to anyone looking to upgrade and game improvement clubs.
